Paris Districts - Paris Furnished Apartments

Paris is a big city with numerous districts containing beautiful sightseeing, magnificent restaurants,   lavish nightlife and unparalleled accommodation listings including Paris furnished apartments.

The city of Paris is filled with so many sights and attractions, tourists must have a Paris travel guide to be sure they hit all the best sites, attractions and restaurants.

Great Paris is officially divided into 20 districts called arrondissements, numbered from 1 to 20 in a clockwise spiral from the centre of the city (known as Kilometre Zero and is located at the front of Notre Dame).

Paris districts are named according to their number. You might, for example, stay in the "5th", which would be written as 5e (SANK-ee-emm) in French. The 12th and 16th arrondissements include large suburban parks, the Bois de Vincennes, and the Bois de Boulogne respectively.

The very best map you can get for Paris is called "Paris Pratique par Arrondissement" which you can buy for about €2-4 at any news stand and may become your best friend besides your Paris travel guide. It makes navigating the city much easier.
