When renting Paris vacation rentals you are entitled to know what amenities you will receive with your rental. Self catering in Paris furnished rentals are mostly Paris vacation rentals apartments.

The city is mostly urban and does not offer a lot of self catering in Paris vacation homes or villas for rent.

Paris buildings do not offer the same services you would find in Miami  (Miami vacation rentals) or New York (New York vacation rentals)  Do not expect valet, concierge, security, gym, pool or anything of that kind.

Luxury Paris buildings may have a janitor called “a concierge” who will do nothing more than take care of a specific task.

Paris is an old city with mostly older building that date back at least 100 years. Most Paris vacation rentals are fully updated with everything you need; however, most self catering in Paris apartments are not equipped with A/C.

The weather in Paris is not hot enough to require A/C because it might get really hot two weeks a year. You can expect to have access to a local phone line, TV (cable with foreign TV channels is possible but not a given) and Wi-Fi.
